DAILY

Online Community Practice

Every morning | Online

At different times

Each morning, a small and dedicated group of practitioners comes together online to begin the day with Yuan Qigong practice. It is a simple and powerful way to start the day grounded, connected, and nourished from within. There is something quietly profound about practising together across distance, supporting each other to show up consistently. That consistency creates a momentum that is difficult to replicate alone.

WEEKLY

In-Person Community Practice

Every Monday | In Central Nelson

IN-PERSON | Mondays | 1-5 pm

Once a week, practitioners gather in Nelson to practise together. This is a practice session, generally led by one of our local facilitators, and it usually begins with a little sharing and questions before moving into practice. At the end of the session, as people are often in a quite deep state, you are welcome to quietly leave in your own time — to continue to feel and remain in a deep inward state.

When & Where & Who?

Contact us for the exact location or to join the Whatsapp Group.

How?

Over two afternoon workshops, that will include some breaks, we will learn and practise all 18 sections of the Ren Yuan form. The focus of these sessions is on learning the movements correctly, as accuracy is important for allowing Qi to flow through the body in the most effective and harmonious way.

Due to time constraints, this workshop will focus primarily on learning and refining the physical form.

While some guidance on the principles of Xin Fa may be offered, there will not be sufficient time to explore the consciousness/True Self aspects of the practice in depth. The emphasis will be on helping participants develop a solid foundation in the movements so they can practise Ren Yuan correctly, confidently, and effectively.

Who is it for?

Anyone familiar with Tian Yuan and Di Yuan.

MONTHLY

The Full Moon Gathering

Sunday 28th June in Nelson
Theme of the month: HOPE

In-person | Sundays | Monthly

Each month Ren Xue & Yuan Gong teachers from the Nelson area come together to offer a casual and uplifting monthly gathering around a theme. Come practise with us and enjoy a cuppa and chat as well!

When (NZT) & Where & Who

Sunday 28th June
4:00 - 6:00 pm

Hosted by qualified Ren Xue teachers

Because of lower numbers, and to help take the financial pressure off people attending, Nelson teachers will for the time being be hosting the gatherings in their own homes. We hope this will also create a cosy, warm, and welcoming experience.

For this reason, the location will be shared once you let us know you are coming.

You can contact us through the contact form, reply to the teacher who emailed you, or contact the teacher facilitating the session directly.

We also have a WhatsApp group for the Full Moon gatherings — let us know if you would like to be added.

What do we do exactly?

Ren Xue is a life-enhancing cultivation system consisting of teachings, theories, and practices. This body of knowledge is effectively put into action in one’s own life through Qigong practices called Yuan Gong. During the two-hour session, we have the opportunity to delve deeper into the teachings, guided by the theme of each month—for example, a specific heart quality or a pattern of the consciousness.

These are informal gatherings with qualified teachers taking turns to lead the sessions, and everyone is welcome to contribute whatever they wish to share, regardless of experience. We usually begin by having a catch-up and cuppa, then we build the Qifield, followed by discussion, a short practice of Yuan Gong and/or a healing depending on who is there.

Who is it for?

Whether you’ve just attended one Ren Xue/Qigong workshop, or you’re a long-term student or teacher, these Monthly Full Moon Gatherings are a chance to support and inspire each other, and to benefit from each other’s growth. Come for a practice, a chat, and a cup of tea!

It’s also an opportunity for teachers who may not be actively teaching to lead a session, and for people curious about Ren Xue to find out more in a relaxed and welcoming environment. In short, there’s something for everyone! It’s a time and space for us to come together to learn more about ourselves through the Ren Xue teachings, self-reflection, self-observation, and ultimately to grow together in a deeply uplifting way.

Who is running these events?

We are a group of Ren Xue and Qigong teachers who work together to organise these Full Moon events, as well as other events during the year. Each Full Moon event is hosted by one or two (or more!) teachers who are there on the day.

Let's
uplift
ourselves
together.

"Society is made up of individuals. Social harmony is built upon harmonious relationships between individuals and society — with ourselves, with family members, and with others. Ren Xue encourages an internal approach: first building a harmonious state within ourselves, and then transmitting this state to others. Individual harmony is the foundation for social harmony. When individuals cultivate internal harmony, harmonious relationships on every level of society can manifest — improving wellbeing and uplifting life."
